Trade ya for a Story…

I am not sure if it was who I grew up with or where I grew up but the barter system was alive and well during my formative years making a huge impact on me! I learn from my father if you could make a deal without using actual cash it was not only a ton more fun but you usual got a lot more out of the deal.

Tucson Nights and Delights

Ross and I really loved our visit to Tucson. So much so that we kept extending it! Unfortunately we have been having persistent battery issues, so while we were there Ross installed a new battery for us. (That hasn’t fixed the problems, unfortunately, but that’s for another blog.) When we weren’t working or problem-solving, we found plenty of fun things to do in Tucson.  Read more about Tucson Nights and Delights

Chinook Bay Camp Hosting: What I learned

Wow. We’ve been busy.  If you’ve tried to reach us or come to visit us you know this isn’t a boring gig. At all.

Friends and family have come and spent a few nights with us, with everyone commenting how busy we are. We are!  Campers on top of campers, people at the door all hours of the day and night. Snakes in tents, loud drunk campers in their 60s who must be reminded of quiet hours; trees falling almost on top of tents; trees falling on camper vans (no one was hurt, thank goodness) and oh, so much more. 3…2…1! Exercising on the Road

Workamping is truly a wonderful way to see the country and make new friends-for- life in the process. The spirit of adventure is always with us as we move from place to place with each passing season. I do, however, also enjoy the comfort of returning to a location where I like the people, the […]

I had fantasized about how we could live life differently…

We are a Workamping couple under the age of 45 that also have a family in tow.  We have 2 children who we, in addition to Workamping, also homeschool.   A few years ago in the middle of the February winter doldrums, I had fantasized about how we could live life differently.  We decided to […]

Controlling the Humidity in your RV

Maintaining a safe, mold free environment in our 26 foot motorhome is a top priority, more so with the fact that Levi suffers from asthma, I am pretty much allergic to all life springs about, and, of course, we have our pets (3 cats and dog) to protect. According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), […]
