Back to the Future… Cuba!

Travel for us is like an itch you’re not supposed to scratch…no, that makes it sound bad…it’s like putting cake in the fridge and telling us not to eat it, yeah …cake…

Cuba all started in October when we worked with a guy named Raphael at the Beet Harvest, his wife Lia was from Cuba and he spoke highly of it and said we should visit if we got the chance while in Florida…he also showed us a video of a fish that walked on land that’s only found in Cuba…SO he put the cake in the fridge, if you will. Beet Harvest Adventure

2400 sq ft to 379 sq ft: The Process!

YES! We did it! The house is empty, keys are turned over, and we’ve moved into the RV.  Doug will officially retire in two short weeks!

The journey from 2400 sq feet to 379 sq feet can be summed up as “stuff, stuff and MORE stuff.” Once you get the stuff, you have to store the stuff, then you must insure the stuff, maintain the stuff, repair the stuff, clean the stuff, move the stuff…whew!  Stuff = work.
