Tucson Nights and Delights

Ross and I really loved our visit to Tucson. So much so that we kept extending it! Unfortunately we have been having persistent battery issues, so while we were there Ross installed a new battery for us. (That hasn’t fixed the problems, unfortunately, but that’s for another blog.) When we weren’t working or problem-solving, we found plenty of fun things to do in Tucson.  Read more about Tucson Nights and Delights

LAS CRUCES LOVE

It was practically love at first sight…but first, how we got there.

As I mentioned in my last post, our visit to El Paso, TX was super-short due to weather and the lack of a car. It was the first time I have been in a Walmart and didn’t see any other white people! We were impressed by how art is everywhere in El Paso – even on the highways! Here are a few photos to give you a taste.

Back to the Future… Cuba!

Travel for us is like an itch you’re not supposed to scratch…no, that makes it sound bad…it’s like putting cake in the fridge and telling us not to eat it, yeah …cake…

Cuba all started in October when we worked with a guy named Raphael at the Beet Harvest, his wife Lia was from Cuba and he spoke highly of it and said we should visit if we got the chance while in Florida…he also showed us a video of a fish that walked on land that’s only found in Cuba…SO he put the cake in the fridge, if you will. Cruising Through the Carolinas!

Although here in Westminster, South Carolina we dodged the weather bullet, throughout the “Upstate,” many areas experienced a turbulent evening filled with damaging wind, rain, and hail. After such  a raucous display of wild weather, this morning dawned remarkably, with a clear blue sky and crisp temperatures – a perfect day for a road trip! We […]
