The REAL Truth about Full Time RVing with your Spouse

When my wife and I were first looking into full time RVing, we read lots of books and blogs about the subject. Every book or blog we read had the following one sentence for couples, “Make sure you love your traveling partner!” This was good advice, but it wasn’t specific. It didn’t help me much. […]

Adventures in Upstate New York

My husband Ross and I were eager to begin our RVing adventure with a few days exploring parts of New York we hadn’t seen before. What began as a dreary day turned sunny and warm while we drove. We passed some gorgeous towns in New Hampshire and Vermont, including Woodstock and the Killington area, but […]

Background on City of Rocks State Park

The City of Rocks State Park IS a page right out of history.  This natural wonder was created millions of years ago, a product of a volcanic monstrosity. The searing fragments piled high forming giant masses, a sort of welding process.  Eventual erosion created the pillars and other various rock formations we see today.

There are still signs of early inhabitants throughout the area, most notably grinding tools. Wildlife and vegetation specific to the Southwest bring life and variety to this bedrock. Read more about Background on City of Rocks State Park

Seafood…Sightseeing…and Settling In!

Then we have David, my husband, who many say resembles Seth Rogen (I’m not complaining 😉) He is 36, a musician to the core with his primary instruments being the bass and guitar. He is a super fun loving easy going guy which helps to balance me out… a more anxious, outgoing, free spirit with a temper and dramatic flare. Levi about to fill up a 100 lb propane tank at USI RV Park. The front office is in the background. If you look to the right edge of the photo you can glimpse the back end of our rig. We were parked right next to the office; made for a quick commute to work. […]

Team-Building at its Best!

Kicking off the adventure with a mimosa and a photo shoot outside the “Skool Buzz,” as our tour bus was named, we made a quick stop at Inspiration Point, a scenic lookout in Glen Arbor and a drive-through at Old Settler’s Park. There was an educational element included in this team-building experience as we visited […]
