When my wife and I were first looking into full time RVing, we read lots of books and blogs about the subject. Every book or blog we read had the following one sentence for couples, “Make sure you love your traveling partner!” This was good advice, but it wasn’t specific. It didn’t help me much. […]
It’s been a little over two weeks since we started this full time RV adventure and actually a lot has happened. Here it is in a quick run on sentence: Laundromats insane wind storms water heater discoveries leaking sinks our Big Move and learning to ride a bike.

My husband Ross and I were eager to begin our RVing adventure with a few days exploring parts of New York we hadn’t seen before. What began as a dreary day turned sunny and warm while we drove. We passed some gorgeous towns in New Hampshire and Vermont, including Woodstock and the Killington area, but […]
The City of Rocks State Park IS a page right out of history. This natural wonder was created millions of years ago, a product of a volcanic monstrosity. The searing fragments piled high forming giant masses, a sort of welding process. Eventual erosion created the pillars and other various rock formations we see today.
There are still signs of early inhabitants throughout the area, most notably grinding tools. Wildlife and vegetation specific to the Southwest bring life and variety to this bedrock. Read more about Background on City of Rocks State Park …
So our summer workamping adventure begins! We arrived in Eastham, Massachusetts at Atlantic Oaks Campground on Monday, May 8th, and met Katie and Dan, the campground owners! Let me start off by introducing myself and my little family of love. There’s me, Jenn, a 33 year old mother of two, singer, artist, graphic designer, and lover of musical theater. He is a super fun loving easy going guy which helps to balance me out… a more anxious, outgoing, free spirit with a temper and dramatic flare. Levi about to fill up a 100 lb propane tank at USI RV Park. The front office is in the background. If you look to the right edge of the photo you can glimpse the back end of our rig. We were parked right next to the office; made for a quick commute to work. […]
Kicking off the adventure with a mimosa and a photo shoot outside the “Skool Buzz,” as our tour bus was named, we made a quick stop at Inspiration Point, a scenic lookout in Glen Arbor and a drive-through at Old Settler’s Park. There was an educational element included in this team-building experience as we visited […]
What makes Strataca unique? Strataca, dubbed one of the 8 Wonders of Kansas, is an underground salt museum that takes visitors 650 feet below the Earth’s surface. A 90-second ride down a dark shaft leads to a lithic abyss that showcases everything utilized and discovered during mining, along with a few extra surprises. There are fifteen mines of this kind […]
